Basic Structure:
The Earth Wall Solar Greenhouse faces south, with three walls. The sun-facing side is a large sloped surface covered with a transparent plastic film. The greenhouse mainly utilizes the heat retention properties of the soil, with the earth walls serving as the core of its insulation system.

Insulation Principle:
During the day, sunlight passes through the plastic film, warming the ground and the rear earth walls of the greenhouse. This raises the temperature inside. The plastic film prevents heat from escaping, helping maintain a higher temperature for a longer period. During this time, the earth walls absorb a significant amount of heat. Even in very low outdoor temperatures, the greenhouse remains suitable for growing vegetables and plants.
At night, the heat stored in the soil gradually radiates back into the greenhouse, keeping the environment warm and comfortable.
Excellent Insulation:
The earth walls are exceptionally thick. The heat capacity of 1 cubic meter of soil that absorbs heat during the day is equivalent to 2000 cubic meters of air. This results in remarkable heat release at night, ensuring the greenhouse stays warm.
In winter, when the outdoor temperature is as low as -10°C, the temperature inside the earth wall solar greenhouse can remain above 13°C. This insulation performance is superior to other greenhouse types made with steel framework, brick walls, or plastic foam boards, and it is more cost-effective.
